Under the same honey source conditions, the temperature is different, and the attendance of worker bees is also different, especially when the temperature changes greatly.
The more the number of worker bees, the more stable the nest temperature, and can maintain in the range of 34-35 ℃, too high and too low temperature is not conducive to its development and reproduction.
When the temperature is too high, worker bees go out to collect water and evaporate water to cool down. When the hive is exposed to the sun, the worker bees leave the spleen and gather in the larger space of the hive and send out heat at the entrance of the hive. Bees are cold-blooded animals. When the temperature is lower than 8 ℃, they will die. If the temperature is lower than 18 ℃, workers will form a group around the queen to keep warm.
Sunshine can stimulate workers to move out. The collection season is one year long sunshine season. The hive should be placed in a cool place with the door facing south.
In social life, worker bees form an information exchange system that can adapt to survival and solve problems. In addition to living in the hive, worker bees rely on contact, voice and dance for communication, many information is transmitted through chemical substances. Pheromone is a chemical substance secreted by the exocrine glands of insects to the outside of the body, which acts on other individuals of the same species through contact between individuals or air transmission.
The pheromones transmitted by the same kind of individuals are a special "language" for them. The receiving individuals can understand the information codes contained in them, so as to generate behaviors or physiological reactions conducive to the group.
