Bee venom has significant effects on respiratory system and cardiovascular system. People who suffer from bee chelons breathe faster and are generally thought to have a reflex response to lower blood pressure. Bee venom has anticoagulant effect both in vivo and in vitro, which significantly prolongs blood clotting time.

Bee venom can inhibit and kill many kinds of Gram-positive and Gram-negative satiety, and can also enhance the antibacterial ability of thiamine and penicillin. The anti-inflammatory components of bee venom are mast cell degranulation peptides, melittin, bee venom peptide and antiphlogistic.

Bee venom and melittin can excite the isolated intestine and its offspring. Phosphorus acetate A4 can directly excite the muscle of Pingfen. Bee venom can antagonize the effects of sympathetic amines such as adrenaline and norepinephrine on the inhibition of intestinal smooth muscle. The site of action may be neural synapse, but it has no effect on the drugs directly acting on the smooth muscle.

Bee venom has immunosuppressive effect. The active ingredient is low molecular compound. The molecular weight of bee venom is less than 1200-5000. Bee venom has strong sensitization. The main active ingredients are high molecular polypeptide, phosphoacetase A2, hyaluronidase, acidic phosphatase and sensitizer B and C. In addition, bee venom can affect the growth of many plants, such as wheat and geranium. Tumor has certain inhibitory effect.

Most people are immune to bee venom. When honeybee farmers, who often suffer from bee chelons, develop immunity, they also suffer from dozens or even hundreds of bee chelons without any symptoms of poisoning. The average person is not able to see swelling.
